The perfect look for your job interview

Tips and tricks from Marianne Schrittenlocher, Trainer MAC Cosmetics Switzerland

For a job interview it is key to be competent and sympathetic. An appealing look supports you in convincing others about yourself. Enhance your features with Make-up but don’t overdo it.

So what do I have to consider?
What are Do’s and Don’ts ?

Bellow you find some tips and tricks for your perfect look.

  1. Skin:

You achieve a natural, flawless skin with a foundation.

Do’s: Choose the colour with professional support of a Make-up Artist at a Counter. The colour should be the same as your skin colour.

A natural foundation like MAC Studio Waterweight helps you to even out your skin, while keeping it natural. A transparent powder gives you a natural matte finish and helps you that the foundation stays on the whole day.

  2. Eyes:

To enhance the eye area you might choose to work with natural Eyeshadows in brown shades.
A natural Mascara like the Extended Play Lash from MAC helps you to separate your lashes while enhancing every single one of them.

  3. Eyebrows:

The brows are the frame for the eyes.

Do’s: If you have brown to black hair choose a Brow Pencil which is one shade lighter than your hair colour. If you have blonde hair you can choose a colour which is about two shades darker.

    Don’ts: Using too much product.

  4. Lips:

Not to forget and invaluable is a winning, open smile. For beautiful lips, I recommend you to use the MAC Lip Scrubtious peeling the night before the interview. On the day of the job interview a Lip Conditioner and a natural Lipstick will enhance your look. The lips should look well moisturized and fresh but not overdone.

We wish you every success in your application!
